The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather during Sunday's daylight hours in most parts of the country. Moderately hot weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Canal Cities, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind will be active occasionally across the region.
Medium to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are also predicted to prevail intermittently in the North Coast, north of Lower Egypt, and Great Cairo. Light to medium rain is expected to fall in Halayeb and Shalateen.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height varying between northeast and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 24°C in Cairo, 22°C in Alexandria, 21°C in Marsa Matruh, 26°C in Sohag, 29°C in Qena, and 30°C in Aswan.
