North Korea is ready to conduct the seventh nuclear test after completing its preparations, the South Korean Intelligence agency said on Thursday.

The national intelligence also stated that North Korea could possibly fire an intercontinental ballistic missile despite its struggle to hold the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the Yonhap news agency.

There is a possibility that Leader Kim Jung-un could choose to stage a “provocation” after Biden visits Seoul this week to hold a summit with President Yoon Suk-yeol.

On Wednesday, Kim Tae-hyo, the first Deputy National Security Adviser in South Korea said Pyongyang’s preparations to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile appear imminent.
