North Korea recorded 15 new deaths due to "unknown fever" after the country recently announced its first Coronavirus case.
The Asian country had announced the death of 21 people and the injury of more than 17,000 new cases.
The official Korean Central News Agency said that a total of 42 people have died since the fever outbreak, including 820,620 cases and at least 324,550 are undergoing medical treatment.
Kim Jong-un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea said that spreading the COVID-19 outbreak is a "great disaster" for the country, according to AFP.
The state media did not specify the number of fever cases and deaths that were confirmed as COVID-19.
On Friday, the United Nations said that the organization is ready to help North Korea deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.
