The 20-year-old American singer and songwriter Noah Cyrus was brought to tears over her GRAMMY nomination yesterday, Tuesday, November 24th on her official Instagram account @noahcyrus.

Cyrus posted a series of videos of herself crying hysterically as she talked with her manager Zach Kardisch and her father, the famous singer, songwriter, and actor Billy Ray Cyrus with the captions, ‘IM A GRAMMY NOMINATED ARTIST!!! i’m in a puddle of tears in bed after being woken up and told IM NOMINATED AS BEST NEW ARTIST,’ and ‘i still can’t believe this is a real post. If you swipe over one that’s me sobbing to my dad while he asks me if I “shat my breeches” when hearing I was nominated lolol.’

The GRAMMY nominee made sure to thank her mother Tish Cyrus for always being her biggest fan and predicting this nomination at the beginning of the year. Before thanking her team and manager, she showed appreciation to everyone who worked on her album “The End of Everything”, and the Recording Academy for truly listening and hearing her music.

It is worth mentioning that the women of the music industry took over most of the 2021 GRAMMY nominations officially announced yesterday night.
