Niinistö Reveals Putin's Position in Regime Change in Ukraine

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said on Monday, Russian President, Vladimir Putin's goal is not changing Ukraine's regime.

"Putin has his list of demands; it seems that changing the government of Ukraine is not anymore on the list. When I asked him he said it was never been there, but nevertheless that was the understanding so far," the President of Finland said in an interview with CNN.

It was mentioned that Niinistö discussed a few days ago with Putin about the situation in Ukraine, during which he stressed about "the necessity of achieving an immediate ceasefire and ensuring the safe evacuation of the civilians through the corridors."
