Nicolas Cage's "The Old Way" to Be Released Later This Year

Saban Films has gained North American and other overseas territory rights to Nicolas Cage's new Western movie "The Old Way".

The distributor is targeting a theatrical and VOD release for the movie sometime during the fourth quarter of 2022.

"The Old Way" is written by Carl W. Lucas and helmed by director Brett Donowho.

The movie revolves around Colton Briggs (Cage), a former gunslinger who believed he had left his past behind.

When a gang of outlaws murder his wife, Briggs finds his world shattered and leaving him a single parent to a young daughter.

Now they will hunt down the man who killed his wife, who goes by McCallister.

"The Old Way" also stars Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Nick Searcy, and Shiloh Fernandez.

Cage will also produce alongside Sasha Yelaun, Robert Paschall Jr., Johnny Remo, R. Bryan Wright, Micah Haley, Donowho, and Saturn Films.

Executive producers are Joshua Bunting, David Haring, Christian Mercuri, Mehrdad Moayedi, Fred Roos, and Lucas.
