Nicolas Cage Unveils Gender, Name of His Third Baby

Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage and his fifth wife, actress Riko Shibata are expecting a baby girl.

He disclosed the news while promoting his latest movie "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" on "The Kelly Clarkson Show".

"I'm gonna announce some big news for everyone. I am gonna have a little girl," he said.

"Her name is going to be Lennon Augie, Augie after my father," he added, referring to his late father, August Coppola, who passed away in 2009. "I'll call her Lenny for short."

Cage shared his excitement about becoming a father to a girl, noting. "I'm thrilled. It's gonna be the biggest adventure of my life. So, here we go."

The couple announced are expecting their first baby together in January.

The child marks the actor’s third time in parenthood as he is already a father to sons Kal-El, 16, and Weston, 31, from previous relationships.

Cage married Shibata in a very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on February 16, 2021.

They picked this date to honor the actor’s late father, whose birthday falls on the same day.

The couple met in Shiga, Japan, through mutual friends while Cage was filming “Prisoners of the Ghostland”.

They made their red carpet debut last July at the premiere of Cage’s movie “Pig”.
