This morning, Al-Arabiya news channel quoted sources saying that the next Geneva meeting on the Libyan crisis will be held on October 15th, with 80 personalities from various spectrums in the war-torn country to attend.

The sources indicated that 13 deputies from the Libyan Parliament and 13 from the State Council will attend.

The restructuring of the Presidency Council and the formation of an independent government are expected to top the negotiating table.

On the other hand, sources reported that there are some disagreements about the percentages of representation, while some local parties objected to the percentages of the attendees' representation and the selection criteria for participation in Geneva.

It is worth noting that the participants in the Swiss consultations had agreed that “presidential and parliamentary elections should be held at the end of a period of 18 months in accordance with a constitutional framework to be agreed upon.

This period begins with the restructuring of the Presidency Council and the formation of a government of national unity that represents all.

They also suggested moving key government jobs and offices, such as the Executive Authority and the House of Representatives, temporarily, to Sirte after executing appropriate security and logistical arrangements.

At the same time, a report by Al-Arabiya revealed that the tribal alliance controlling western Libya is witnessing disagreements over sharing positions in the upcoming "political settlement" with the eastern Libyan forces and the leadership of the Libyan army.

The sources stated that, with the exception of Zintan, the Turkish influence has come to fully extend to the western region and Tripoli through militia leaders.

Al-Arabiya sources revealed that the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood is currently holding intensive meetings in Turkey and Misrata to prepare for the upcoming rounds of negotiations, and that they are pushing Fathi Bashagha, Minister of Interior in the Government of National Accord (Al-Wefaq), and the powerful militia man and Misrata, to take over the premiership.

The sources reported that the Libyan negotiations in the resort of Bouznika regarding the distribution of sovereign jobs may resume within days.
