Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the Tel Aviv Central Court to begin the third session of his testimony in his trial.
In November 2019, Netanyahu was charged with bribery, fraud and breach of trust in three separate indictments accusing him of accepting lavish gifts and providing benefits to media moguls in exchange for positive coverage.
The Israeli prosecution expressed regret over the leaks about Hefetz's testimony but urged the Tuesday session to proceed, but the court judges acceded to the defense and postponed the trial until November 22.
