Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he does not accept Hamas’ demands in the negotiations, explaining that every deal must allow Israel to resume fighting to achieve the goals of the war, adding: “We are working to return the largest number of living detainees in the first phase of the exchange deal.”
Netanyahu added that the war in Gaza forced us to pay heavy prices, but we will achieve victory by defeating Hamas. I affirm my commitment to the deal proposal to release the detainees, and I stress my adherence to the four principles that I announced.
