The U.S. Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US) announced it will host an online briefing on March 19, 2026, focusing on developments inside Iran and potential political transitions following recent events.

According to the official media advisory, the session will feature Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chairman of the NCRI’s Foreign Affairs Committee, joining from Paris to discuss key issues related to the current crisis in Iran.

The briefing is expected to address several major topics, including possible scenarios for regime change, the structure and role of a proposed provisional government, and the NCRI’s roadmap for managing a political transition.

Discussions will also cover the implications of the reported death of Ali Larijani, as well as the broader impact of developments surrounding Iran’s leadership, including questions related to succession following the reported elimination of Ali Khamenei.

Organizers said the event will conclude with a question-and-answer session, allowing participants to engage directly on the evolving situation in Iran.

The briefing is scheduled for 9:30 AM Eastern Time and will be accessible via Zoom, with participation limited to accredited journalists, members of Congress, think tanks, and diplomatic representatives.

The NCRI, described as a parliament-in-exile, continues to promote the establishment of a democratic, secular, and non-nuclear republic in Iran.
