Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary-General of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), remarked in a statement to Reuters on Tuesday about Ukraine's pressing requirement for air defenses. This encompasses not only ammunition but also spare parts and maintenance for systems already integrated within the Ukrainian military.
Stoltenberg further observed that the conflict represents a "war of attrition". However, it isn't stagnant, especially given the advances Ukraine made in its counteroffensive launched in June. This move aimed to reclaim territories from Russian forces.
