Today, Hassan Nasrallah, the commander of Hezbollah group, appeared on "Al-Manar TV" to address US riots, protests in front of the Capitol, as wells as Lebanon’s domestic affairs.

Nasrallah noted that what happened in the US reflects the country’s scenario in many other countries in the past to tumble the internal affairs in other countries.

Nasrallah explained that "What the Americans witnessed yesterday was a small result of the crimes that Donald Trump committed during his presidency in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, including the assassination of Iran's anti-terror commander General Ghasem Soleimani."

Nasrallah continued that "Donald Trump applied the same scenario in the USA and killed Americans."

Hezbollah's commander added that "What happened yesterday show that American democracy is an illusion and that Trump doesn't fit to be a president."

"It was God who saved the world for the past four years because the nuclear keys were in the hands of an arrogant person like Trump. I hope the remaining days of the Trump era go well."

The commander also pointed to a huge explosion in the Beirut in early August 2020, that claimed more than a hundred lives, injured thousands more and sent seismic shockwaves through the city.

He expressed Hezbollah’s support to the investigations related to the incident till revealing the truth, saying, "The investigation into the blast conducted by the Lebanese army and security forces is over, so the judiciary must announce the result."

He added that "They are focusing only on some administrative reasons while ignoring the direct reason," calling on all the concerned organization to bring those who are involved to justice regardless of their religious affiliations."

He concluded that "The explosion is an internal cause and it should not be turned to a sectarian or political issue," stressing that "the families of victims have the right to know who killed their children and who planned such horrific deed."
