NASA’s Martian Perseverance Rover discovered a strange string on the surface of the Red Planet, NASA announced on Friday.
The string was found in an area that wasn’t discovered yet by NASA’s rover, however, NASA’s experts believe that this string could be from the landing of the rover, and it was moved by the strong Martian winds.
Perseverance discovered the mysterious object in the Jezero Crater that the rover didn’t study yet.
The pictures of the string were captured by the hazard cameras of the rover.
Last April, the Ingenuity helicopter spotted breathtaking landscapes of the Red Planet during its milestone flights. The tiny device captured photos of the debris and gears that helped NASA’s Perseverance Rover on Mars.
The photos were taken on the first year anniversary of the Martian Helicopter’s first flight on the surface of the Red Planet.
It captured photos of the stripped parachute that was used during the rover’s landing and the cone-shaped back shell that protected the rover and its tiny companion Inguinity.
