Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) sponsors 180 scholarships to obtain a doctorate, seeks to participate in the community medical convoys and technology: Vice President

Dr. Mohamed Azazy, President of MUST, said that the university has developed a digital interactive education system which transforms paper education into an interactive digital book to support students and expand their cognitive abilities and to ensure communication between the student and the professor.

The President of the University, according to a statement issued by the media center at the university, said that the educational content of the university depends on European text books; so that students can study the scientific material taught in foreign universities.

He pointed out excellence of the European education depends on discussion and dialogue and question, which provided by MUST through several means in addition to increasing the number of sessions of scientific seminars for postgraduates and sections for students of Bachelor and Bachelor.

He pointed out that MUST is relying on a foreign institution to get a good rating by the end of this year.

He added that in general, universities in Egypt have a much better reputation as evidenced by the existence of 5 state universities in the advanced stage of the Shanghai rating.

When we compare the scientific material and professors in Germany and Egypt, we will find not much difference except in the way in which science and knowledge are presented.

Dr Azzazy stressed that the tuition fees in MUST are lower than any other university compared to at any other university. The fees include textbooks.

He revealed that when he talked with the Board of Trustees about increasing the fees, they rejected the suggestion because most of the students are of the middle class.

Fees are increased by a very slight rate depending on the social outlook.

He announced 140 full scholarships would be provided by the university in accordance with the rules.

He affirmed that the absolute priority was granted to sons of martyrs of the Police and Armed Forces, and the social cases in which the mother is the only breadwinner and the father is deceased.

President of MUST went on to say that another part of these scholarships are offered to the outstanding high-school goers as the Fund of Solidarity sponsors tuition fees of those students whose social status changes and whose families are unable to pay.

He referred to the university's artistic, sports and music education activities on the university stage, believing that the university should be a beacon of enlightenment.

He pointed out that the absorptive capacity of the standing universities is not enough because demand outpaces supply.

He assured that within the past two years, 5 new universities were established all of them belong to the fourth smart generation and rely on teaching artificial intelligence.  He considered that as a miracle to finish their construction in just two years.

He warned of weakness of the absorptive capacity of the standing universities compels the Office of Admission to supply equality for all students.

He called for increasing the number of universities in general so that the students are distributed to them and the number of students in universities is being reduced so that the student can discuss and analyze; this is what the state seeks and started implementing it by establishing new universities such as the universities of His Majesty, King Salman, Al Mansoura Al Gadida and Al-Alamain Universities.

For example, 6 October City, without the presence of universities there would not be an urban city.

He pointed out that Egypt lacks applied universities that interest in graduating alumni acquire skills in specialization, and after graduation is employed with high skills and efficiency, pointing out that factories and companies prefer graduates of applied universities.

On his part, Dr. Ahmed Tolba, Vice President of Misr University for Science and Technology ( MUST), announced the establishment of a unit for the development of educational content at the university to introduce the practical aspect and link between education and industry.

He continued: "We have 180 scholarships to obtain a doctorate, the university sponsor fees expenses and this is the best proof that private universities are not-for-profit.

He stressed the university is interest in societal participation, where the university participated in sending medical and technological convoys to the rural areas of Burqash and Shubra Mint, south to Giza.
