Moroccan national team will fly to Egypt on Tuesday, June 18 to participate in the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt from June 21 to July 19.
The Atlas Lions began their preparations on June 2 in Salé city, Morocco. During their preparations, they played a friendly game against Gambia's national team, but the Lions were defeated 1-0.
Before heading to Egypt, the one-time title holder will play their second friendly game against Zambia on Sunday, June 16.
Morocco, drawn in Group D alongside Ivory Coast, South Africa, and Namibia, will begin their campaign against Namibia on Sunday, June 23 at Al Salam Stadium at 16:30 pm CLT.
It is worth mentioning that Hervé Renard, head coach of Morocco's national team named his 23-man squad for the upcoming showpiece tournament.
