Egyptian actress, Mona Zaki is teaming up with screenwriter Mariam Naoum for a new TV series.
The untitled project will be directed by Karim El Shenawy and produced by Mohamed Al Saadany.
Zaki was last seen in the 2020 TV series “Lebat Newton”, which premiered during the holy month of Ramadan.
It also starred Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Sayed Ragab, Mohamed El-Tajy, Mayan El-Sayed, Hanan Youssef, and others.
The actress is currently busy shooting her new film, which is produced under the working title of “Al Gawahergy”.
The film is reuniting her with prominent actor Mohamed Henedy after 23 years of shooting the 1998 film “Saidi at the American University”.
It also stars Lebleba, Reem Moustafa, Ahmed Halawa, Arefa Abdul Rasoul, Tara Emad, and others.
The film is written by Omar Taher and directed by Islam Khairy.
