Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan is renewing his cooperation with director Mohamed Samy in his new TV series “Al Prince”, which will premiere in Ramadan 2020.

This will be the second cooperation between Ramadan and Mohamed Samy; they cooperated for the first time in 2016 TV series “Al Ostoura”, which achieved great success during premiere time.

Samy stated in an interview with “The Insider” program broadcast on Dubai that the new series is facing a special challenge, which is suppressing TV series “Al Ostoura”.

Ramadan’s new series will be written and directed by Samy, who had finished writing five episodes, so far.

The director revealed his expectation for their new TV series, affirming his “certainty” of the series success, after TV series “Al Ostoura” success in 2016.

“I will resume “Al Ostoura” legacy with Mohamed Ramadan,” adding “We bargained that we will do something that will suppress “Al Ostoura” success.”

Ramadan participated last Ramadan with TV series "Nesr el-Saeed" (Upper Egypt’s Eagle), which achieved huge success during its premiere time.

On the other hand, Ramadan’s music video “Ensay” achieved tremendous success by earning 157 million viewers, after its debut on July 17.

Moreover, it was also ranked as no.1 on Egypt’s YouTube trending list.

The actor, born on May 23, 1988, began acting while at school.

He received the award for greatest nationwide talent three times consecutively – an unprecedented achievement.

Ramadan started his career with small gigs such as TV series “The Cindrella” until he had his big breakthrough in Yousry Nasrallah’s “Ehky Ya Sharazad”.

The actor then went on to star in blockbusters produced by the infamous producers Mohamed and Ahmed El Sobky, which made him one of the most valuable actors in the Middle East.

Ramadan, perhaps, was the only Egyptian actor to have been praised by internationally renowned actor Omar El-Sherif, who stated that he had chosen him to perpetuate his acting legacy.
