Mohamed Afifi, player of the Egyptian artistic gymnastics team, won the silver medal, parallel device, at the World Cup "Cairo 2023".
The tournament was held in the indoor hall of Cairo International Stadium from 27 to 30 April, and is one of the qualifying tournaments for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Afifi won the silver medal and second place with a total score of 14.066.
Ukrainian Llya Kovtun won the gold medal with a total score of 14.833, and Italy's Nicola Muzzotto won the bronze medal with a total score of 14.033.
Afifi advanced to the final after finishing third in yesterday's qualifiers.
