The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm weather will prevail across the country during Friday's daylight hours.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai, limiting horizontal visibility in some parts across Egypt.

Winds occasionally occur across the country.

There is a chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in the North Coast and the North Lower Egypt.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters varying between northwest and northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters with northeast surface winds.

Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

Meteorologists warn that frost may form on crops in parts of the North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and the Western Desert.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 18°C in Marsa Matruh, 22°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 24°C in Aswan.
