The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt during Friday's daylight hours.
Moderate weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Light rainfall will prevail in Cairo, at intermittent periods.
Light to moderate rainfall will hit intermittently in Northwest Coast, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and the Gulf of Suez.
Moderate to heavy rainfall, sometimes thunderstorms, are also expected to prevail in the Northeast Coast, at intermittent periods.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
An extremely cold front is set to bring a freezing climate to North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and Western Sahara.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 23°C in Sohag, 21°C in Qena, and 21°C in Aswan.
