The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday.
Moderately cold weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt, while the North Coast will experience moderately hot weather.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Snow is also foreseen to form on Mount Moses and Saint Catherine's heights. Frost is expected in some regions of central Sinai.
There are chances of light to moderate hitting intermittently in the North of Lower Egypt and the North Coast.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northeastern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northwestern and northeastern surface winds.
Moreover, cold weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to hit the south of the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 17°C in Cairo, 15°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Matruh, 21°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 27°C in Aswan.
