The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in Cairo and North Upper Egypt during Thursday’s daylight hours.
Moderately cold weather is also predicted to hit Lower Egypt and North Coast, while South Sinai and South Upper Egypt experience moderately warm conditions.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Heavy rainfall, sometimes thunderstorms accompanied by hail, will prevail in Marsa Matruh, at intermittent periods.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
Extremely cold weather is also predicted to hit North Upper Egypt and Central Sinai.
Moderate to heavy rain, sometimes thunderstorms, will hit in Alexandria, Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh.
Light rain will also hit intermittently Menoufia, Gharbia, Sharqia, Dakahlia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 21°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 23°C in Sohag, 23°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
