Miss Elegant Egypt beauty pageant announced that it will crown the Queen and her runners-up without public attendance on May 21, in Cairo.
The attendance will be brief on the jury, competitors, press and media only, in order to preserve people's health from the spread of the coronavirus, said President of Miss Elegant Mahmoud Nagah.
The jury will include Star Nihal Anbar, actor Tamer Shaltout, singer Shaymaa Nagy, and TV presenters Lamis Salama, and Nourhan Emad, as well as etiquette specialist Eman Afifi, Life Coach Tamer Shalaby, and makeup artist Marwa Abaza.
It is expected that there will be great competition between the contestants, as the beauty pageant has been postponed several times due to the repercussions of the coronavirus.
Nagah said that he did not meet with the contestants during the last period in order to ensure their safety, adding that most instructions were done virtually.
In addition to the terms of the Miss Elegant competition in terms of weight, height, academic qualification and language, he indicated that the contestants will be selected based on their answers to some general knowledge questions, including their future plans and proposals to help the community in terms of service work, as well as their ideas to help revitalize tourism in Egypt.
