CAIRO, Jan. 18 (SEE)-Ambassador Nabila Makram, minister of immigration, held a meeting yesterday with a delegation of Egyptians living Australia, in the presence of Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, in order to build a link between Egyptians living in abroad and others in homeland.
This was within the framework of the joint program between Ministries of immigration and youth and sports, and the National Training Academy, which focuses on integratng all Egyptian youth in the sustainable development plans.
The meeting aimed also at making the internal challenges clear for Egyptians living abroad.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, minister of youth and sports, attended the meeting and welcomed Egyptian youth delegation, asserting the importance of organizing such meetings on regular basis.
On his part, Pope Tawadros thanked Egyptian government, especially ambassador Makram for her efforts in bringing Egyptian youth inside and outside Egypt together, pointing out that this was one of the dreams which seems to come true.
In the same context, Makram stated that Egyptians anywhere receive much attention from political and government leadership, in order to take responsibility in the future.
Finally, Egyptians living in Australia expressed pride in meeting Pope Tawadros and government representatives, appreciating their efforts in keeping them in contact with internal affairs.
