Ministers of Immigration, Aviation Answer Nation’s Call

Nabila Makram and Minister of Immigration, Mohamed Manar, Minister of Aviation, struck the finest examples of national and service work and the art of crisis management, after displaying great crisis management skills during the time of coronavirus outbreak..

Minister must also always be in the service of the citizens wherever they are and whatever the circumstances are .. Despite the conditions of the ban imposed on the whole world,  Makram did not ignore one call to an Egyptian to return home in this time of crisis.

She quickly sought the help of her colleague the minster of aviation who quickly obeyed the call of duty and himself became the pilot who took it upon himself to rescue Egyptians abroad.

Egypt, through the two ministers, responded to the calls of its citizens stranded in various countries of the world due to the coronavirus crisis from Sudan to Britain, Germany and the United States of America passing through Kuwait and the Emirates and here is Tunisia and the call of Egypt 37 stuck over there and were on their way to board a Tunisian plane.

The returning Egyptians, most of whom were stuck after flights stopped while on business visits, or quick visits, others work for UNICEF and United Nations organizations in Libya and went to Tunisia to be able to return.

Immediately after their appeal to the Egyptian Ministry of Immigration,  Makram intervened with the pilot,  Manar, who worked in coordination with Tunisian Airlines, to transport the Egyptians stranded at Carthage Airport in Tunisia.

The Minister of Immigration praised the great efforts made by the Minister of Civil Aviation, and the rapid response towards any developments to return Egyptians abroad, and for him to lead the return plane to some of the stranded, stressing that the Ministry of Immigration is working in permanent coordination with the various ministries of the state, to follow up the position of the stranded Egyptians around the world, and to coordinate efforts for their return whenever conditions require and permit air traffic in different countries.

In the same context,  Makram emphasizes following up the stance of the stranded Egyptians around the world, and that the Ministry is making all efforts to coordinate with different countries to allow the return of stranded citizens and exceptional cases, stressing that stranded people who have not completed their data may communicate with the embassies and consulates in different countries, and fill in the electronic forms tailored to help them.
