American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus dedicated her latest music video “Angels Like You", to vaccinated healthcare workers.
The footage, released Monday, was co-directed by Cyrus alongside Alana O'Herlihy and was recorded at the singer’s Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate show in Florida earlier this year. The performance was the first major live concert of its size in the U.S. since the coronavirus pandemic began in March 2020.
The audience, who is also featured in the music video, consisted of 7,500 fully vaccinated healthcare and frontline workers.
'It is my honor to perform for you, our gratitude toward you is infinite,' Cyrus said at the show.
The video ends with a stylized winged heart with the words Misery loves company and a note from the singer urging viewers to get vaccinated as soon as they can.
