Egyptian Footballer Mido Celebrates His 38th Birthday

As the Egyptian football player turns 38 today, Ahmed Hossam (Mido) proved to be more than just a talented and skillful African footballer as he has had glorious spells with Tottenham and Ajax.

The prominent player received a large number of congratulatory messages on his official social media platforms.

In the same context, Olympique Marseille and Dutch giant Ajax Amsterdam sent birthday greetings to former Egyptian striker Mido.

The French professional football club based in Marseille and Ajax took to their verified Twitter handles to send out the birthday wishes.

According to Marseille: ”Happy Birthday to the former Egyptian international Mido!"

While Ajax wrote: ”Happy 𝟯𝟴th birthday to the real Egyptian king, Mido!”

Meanwhile, Hany Abo-Rida, a member of the FIFA Council and a member of CAF Executive Committee, wished Mido a happy birthday.

 

Abo-Rida tweeted “most underrated Egyptian and Zamalik's legend, happy birthday Mido.”

Hossam was born on February 23, 1983 in Cairo, Egypt. Commonly known as Mido, he is a coach and former soccer player best known as the manager for Zamalek sports club. 

Mido gained popularity throughout his successful professional soccer career playing for clubs around the world, from Egypt to England.

Furthermore, the maven player also played for the Egyptian national team for almost ten years.
