On Monday, Meta launched its AI assistant, "Meta AI," in the Middle East and North Africa.
In a statement, the company announced that the feature is being gradually rolled out across the region and is now fully available in key markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, and Iraq.
"Meta AI" can be easily accessed through Meta’s apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, via the blue circle icon, without prior registration.
It can also be used in group chats by typing "@Meta AI," allowing users to perform quick searches, discuss ideas, and plan with friends.
"Meta AI" is powered by the latest version of Meta’s AI model, "Llama 3.2," which is the company’s largest model.
This allows users to generate text, images, and even animations directly within the apps.
Meta confirmed that its AI assistant will soon include advanced features such as instant dubbing for Reels content, editing real images, the "Imagine Me" feature for customizable personal photos, and advanced tools for crafting creative post comments.
