When Meghan Markle married into the royal family in UK, she was directed that she should close all her social media ccounts and that the official pages only will be run under her name. Now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have split from the royal family, codes and rules, they are expected to appear once again on the social networks, but this time, with speculations that they would gain millions of dollars.

According to a recent report by 'Mirror', Meghan ran a lifestyle site, The Tig, promoting all things brand Meghan, online before she married Prince Harry.

"Now they must earn a living for themselves, social media will be all the more important in building that brand and allow them to reach not only their fans, but key influencers who may help them commercially," the Mirror report read.

The report quoted Expert Stefan Drew – know as the Marketing Magician – saying: “Social media is a powerful medium and instrumental to the Sussexes’ future. It’s a platform for Harry and Meghan to get their brand out to the world.” They already have 10.9 million Instagram followers.

Stefan added: “They need to get their numbers up to truly harness social media, and they do that by putting the right information out there."

She explained that the Sussexes can use it to say what they want to say, to put across their story without the influence of others. "To start with, they can use it to put rumours to bed and get control of the narrative, which they’ll like.”

On another hand, it was rumored that Meghan's mother Doria Ragland was the leading force behind the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to quit the Royal Family.

According to a former confidante of the 63-year-old yoga teacher, Doria "silently" influenced the shocking choice by Meghan and Prince Harry. The confidante told Mail Online that Doria had grown close to Harry who described her as "amazing" shortly after the couple got engaged.

In a deal which will see them spend a majority of their time in Canada with son Archie, they will not use their HRH titles, will no longer formally represent the Queen and will not receive public funds for royal duties. In addition, the couple will repay £2.4 million used to do refurbish  Frogmore Cottage – the Windsor home they will continue to use when in the UK.
