The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in most of the country during Sunday's daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the South Upper Egypt.
Light rain is expected in scattered areas with intermittent periods in Greater Cairo, with light rain chances that may be moderate in the Nile Delta.
There is a chance of light rain on the northern coasts, and moderate rain, which may occasionally be thunderous, is expected on the northeastern coasts, the Canal Cities, Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, and the northern Red Sea mountain ranges.
Light rain is also expected in northern Upper Egypt.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 0.75 and 1.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest and northeast surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours, at nighttime, turning to moderately cold toward the end.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 26°C in Cairo, 23°C in Alexandria, 22°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 31°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
