Strategic thinker, Major General Samir Farag revealed developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Major General Samir Farag confirmed, in statements to TV anchor Ahmed Moussa during “On My Responsibility” program broadcast on Sada El Balad TV channel, that the Israeli occupation forces did not achieve any goal other than the destruction of the Gaza Strip, stressing that Hamas resistance elements are still in full power, while Israel is unable to free the hostages.
Regarding the ground incursion, Samir Farag said that the Israeli forces began to penetrate one area after another in the Strip, indicating that Israel wants to displace citizens from the Gaza Strip to the south with a top-to-bottom encirclement policy.
The strategic thinker added: "The occupation army began to focus on hospitals", stressing that out of 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, there are only 10 hospitals in service, and the UNRWA schools that shelter civilians do not have water or electricity at the present time.
Samir Farag explained that the occupation army suffered a disaster after they failed to find any members of the Palestinian resistance Hamas under the Shifa' Medical Complex, after storming it at dawn on Wednesday.
Samir Farag said : “The occupation soldiers searched the rooms and basement of the medical hospital in Gaza to find tunnels used by Hamas members, but they did not find anything." He added that Israel wants to repeat what the US did in 2003 when in claimed the presence of a nuclear weapon in Iraq and subsequently occupied it.”
The Major General commented, saying: "There is an operations center and a field hospital under the tunnels of the Gaza Strip, and the occupation is destroying hospitals to displace the people of the Strip and seize it", stressing that storming the hospital violates the International Geneva Convention.
