Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that the volume of Egyptians’ electricity consumption exceeded 38.5 gigawatts, which is a historical consumption rate that we did not expect or imagine.
Madbouly added, in his statements during a press conference, Wednesday,that the volume of Egyptians’ consumption of all types of fuel also reached abnormal levels during the current week at peak temperatures.
He pointed out that the prices of some services in petroleum products will be increased in gradual increments until the end of December 2025 so that the citizen does not feel a sudden financial burden.
Moreover, Madbouly confirmed that all dues to the Italian company Eni, which is the company operating in the Zohr natural gas field, will be paid during the upcoming period.
