French President Emmanuel Macron has pledged to his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, to strengthen and accelerate military support to Ukraine, the French presidency said Sunday.
Macron's remarks came during a phone call with the Ukrainian President.
During their talks, the two leaders referred to what European partners and NATO confirmed at the Munich Security Conference, the need to strengthen and accelerate military support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, according to the French Presidency (Elysee).
The French president also affirmed his commitment to the 10-point peace plan proposed by President Zelensky and assured him that he would support this initiative on the international scene during the upcoming diplomatic forums, according to the Elysee.
