French President Emmanuel Macron received, on Wednesday, his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the French presidential palace, on his first visit to France since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
Zelensky had arrived at Orly airport, after his visit to London, and was received by the French Minister of Armed forces, Sébastien Lecornu, and the Ukrainian ambassador to Paris, Vadym Omelchenko.
Earlier today, Macron had received German Chancellor Olaf Schultz at the Elysee palace.
The three leaders took a memorial photo amid an official reception ceremony at the French Presidential Palace.
The three leaders are scheduled to make joint press statements, before completing their talks during a working dinner set to be held at the presidential palace to discuss France and Europe's support for Ukraine.
