Macron tweeted: “Transparent user policies, significant reinforcement of content moderation and protection of freedom of speech: efforts have to be made by Twitter to comply with European regulations."
Macron's meeting with Musk came on the sidelines of the French President's visit to the US to meet President Joe Biden.
