French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed his country's intention to continue supporting Ukraine on the military, industrial and economic levels in the long term, so that Kiev can fully restore its sovereignty.
According to a statement by the French presidency, this came during a phone call on Sunday between Macron and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the call, the two presidents discussed efforts to enhance the security of Ukraine's grain exports, and agreed to increase cooperation in this regard.
The two sides also welcomed the diplomatic discussions held in Copenhagen and then in Jeddah with a large number of countries, and affirmed their commitment to intensifying these efforts with all partners to support the Ukrainian peace initiative.
