French President Emmanuel Macron cast his vote in the legislative elections in its second round this morning.
Macron tweeted: “Like the millions of French men and women expected at the polls today, I voted. Thanks to all who allowed the poll to take place. You make our democracy alive.”

Deutsche Welle published a report on the second round, in which about 48 million voters are expected to vote, amid a heat wave hitting France, which may affect the turnout in the elections. More than 50 percent of voters boycotted the elections in the first round on June 12.
Pollsters expect Macron’s camp to win the largest number of seats.
