"Maariv", an Israeli daily evening newspaper,  said that the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman indicated in a statement that "the war with Israel has already begun."

He noted that  Israel's involvement in the assassination of Iranian scientists and harm to the people of Iran.

According to Maariv, spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh added during a press conference at a forum in Cannes, western France that  Israel has carried out a series of clandestine attacks aimed at destroying the Iranian civil nuclear program with peaceful purposes.

He added that Israel has killed nuclear Iranian scientists and harmed the Iranian people.

He slammed the international society that accuses Iran of terrorism, but there is no terrorist good or bad. The entire crisis in the region is Israel's fault."

According to the Israeli newspaper, Zadeh said that Israel "did everything to thwart the nuclear talks in Vienna and to cause a clash between Iran and the major powers."

The Iranian spokesman said that Iran's strategic decision to return to the seventh round of nuclear talks in Vienna had already been taken and that Iran had already announced this two weeks ago to the European Union representative in charge of the talks.

When asked whether he believed that returning to the nuclear agreement would prevent Israeli military action, he replied: "Israel has done great damage to our civilian research system, it always talks about the existence of an Iranian nuclear threat, but Israel has hundreds of nuclear bombs, and it has never signed a treaty limiting the profiteering of nuclear weapons.

The Hebrew newspaper pointed out that Khatibzadeh, who spoke at the World Peace Forum, said the region is tired of wars.

He indicated that the world must find a new approach to solving problems in accordance with United Nations (UN) resolutions so  all parties must show the political will for a settlement."
