The Members of the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) at Libya's eastern Hariga oil terminal have ended on Thursday a sit-in over salary demands that delayed the loading of one million-barrel cargo, the port's manager Rajab Sahnoun said, according to Al Saaa24 news.
Sahnoun noted that a tanker that had been waiting to load will be able to enter the port early on Thursday.
A shipping source confirmed that the tanker, trader Unipec's Olympic Fighter, was expecting to load the one million barrel cargo.
One of the guards said a two-week period for the resolution of the dispute over unpaid salaries had been agreed.
In September, the leader of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Field Marshal Khalifa Hafter announced the reopening of oil fields after eight months of blockade. Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) welcomed the decision and announced the resumption of oil production.
