On Wednesday, the Libyan Oil Syndicate said that the production in all fields will be reduced as the executive authorities refused to increase the oil sector workers' salaries.
In its statement for the syndicate, it added that the situation will be escalated if the deadline set for the implementation of its demands has expired and the salaries are not increased.
The syndicate explained that fuel and gas distribution stations, electricity generation stations and what is related to the lives of citizens will be excluded from the sit-in.
