Liam Payne has passed away be he can never be forgotten as he remains alive with his musical legacy.

Following the One Direction alum's death, his collaborator Sam Pounds announced that he would be releasing their duet "Do No Wrong" on November 1 as Payne's first posthumous track.

"I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed," Pounds wrote on X on October 28. "I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening."

The musician added that he hopes the song will be a consolation for Payne's 7-year-old son Bear—with whom the late singer shared with ex Cheryl Cole—as well as his sister Ruth Gibbins and the rest of his family.

"I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes," Pounds added. "I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you."

Payne died on October 16 after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31.

Local officials determined Payne's cause of death to be polytraumatism—a medical term used to describe patients with multiple traumatic injuries)—as well as internal and external hemorrhage sustained from the fall.

A preliminary toxicology report showed that multiple drugs, including what is believed to be pink cocaine, were in Payne's system at the time of his death. Prior to his passing, Payne had been open about his struggles with sobriety.
