Lena Chamamyan to Perform at CIFF Closing Ceremony

Syrian-Armenian singer Lena Chamamyan will perform at the closing ceremony of the Cairo International Film Festival tonight.

Chamamyan performed the official theme song of the French film "Gagarine" which is competing at the CIFF International Competition and participated at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Ya Tara" is the song that will be performed tonight by the singer. She cooperated with the Tunisian composer Amine Bouhafa.

Chamamyan will perform a concert in Cairo at Al Zamalek Stage on 18 December after its renovation.

The 42nd of the Cairo International Film Festival will close tonight. This edition witnessed the participation of 84 films.

Three Egyptian films participated in the International Competition: "Curfew," "About Her," and "Lift Like a Girl."

On the other hand, only one Egyptian film participated in Horizons of Arab Cinema which is "On the Fence."
