Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Sunday the registration of 1,685 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number in the country to 355,056.
The ministry added that the death toll from the virus raised by 43 to 4,340.
Johns Hopkins University announced on Sunday that more than 111 million people were infected with the coronavirus worldwide, including 2460489 deaths.
The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the outbreak in December 2019.
