Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced today that 3,102 people have been killed and 13,819 injured since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli assault on the country.

On Thursday, five Lebanese citizens were killed and three others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting the towns of Harfoush in the Baalbek district and Bazourieh in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported continued Israeli air raids on southern Lebanese towns and villages, including Jibsheet, Deir Kifa, Al-Habin, Kafra, Al-Sultaniyah, Deir Antar, Al-Jumayjimeh, Al-Burghliyah, Bourj Al-Hawa, Al-Qasmiyeh, Abbassieh, Shaqra, Hadatha, and Majdal Selem. Other areas, including the villages of Hadatha, Majdal Selem, and the outskirts of Kounin, faced intermittent artillery shelling, while heavy gunfire from Israeli forces targeted the areas surrounding Naqoura, Jabal Al-Labouneh, Alma Al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa, and Al-Dhaira.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted the towns of Ainata and Kounin in the Bint Jbeil district, as well as Hanin. Additionally, artillery shelling hit the areas of Ainata, Kounin, and Beit Yahoun, with strikes on Yaroun and its outskirts from the direction of Ain Ibl. The village of Shebaa was also targeted by artillery, while Israeli airstrikes hit Rmeish, Aita Al-Shaab, the area near Deir Amess Secondary School, and the skies above Iqlim Al-Kharroub.

In Tyre, residents of Ain Baal mourned 16 locals killed in an Israeli airstrike on a building in the town of Barja.

Meanwhile, in Nabatieh, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Bir Al-Qandeel triangle, partially destroying a seven-story building housing businesses, institutions, warehouses, and numerous apartments. The attack left the area resembling a battlefield due to extensive damage to surrounding buildings.
