Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad launched his new collection PRE_FALL 21, which he presented to women during the Coronavirus period, to relieve the psychological stress and tension, that prevailed lives of many people during the pandemic.
The delicate designs varied between short and long dress, as well as the blouse and the trousers, which had details and features from the 50s and 70s together in a wonderful mix between cuts and fine fabrics, proving that “Old is Gold.”
Each design make women be on cloud nine and escape from the painful reality due to COVID-19. Smooth fabrics such as; Organza, Silk, Tulle and Mousseline are used in the designs.
Murad provided loose and wide cuts surrounding the woman’s slim waist, which brings us back to the delicacy of earlier periods of the twentieth century.
He introduced loose designs that resemble an Abaya, which are defined by a belt to the waist, in addition to a model of one shoulder dress.
Murad focused on the long fluffy sleeves, presenting the broad shoulders and jumpsuits with imaginative ideas.
The designer chose specific shades of dark red and pink, presenting them alone or mixed with the black color.
Moreover; adding gold embroideries with the dark black color provided different designs to suit all tastes.
He used the blue color with all its degrees; from Aqua, greenish-blue like the color of the sea, to the dark blue, delivering thin and attractive designs
The artist relied on delicate details, using the fashion elements in a modern and attractive manner.
The artist made a good use of feathers and lace to form a beautiful common denominator in most of the designs to emphasize the delicacy and softness of his collection.
