Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, in an official visit.
The Russian Foreign Minister is heading a high-level delegation that includes many oil and gas companies representatives and investors, and another media delegation that includes more than 25 Russian authorities.
On his part, the official spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said, in press statements, that the visit comes in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow at all levels and various aspects, as well as discussing many regional and international issues and common visions to enhance security and stability in the region.
