Late Emir's Body Arrives in Kuwait

The body of the late Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, has just arrived in Kuwaiti on a private jet coming from the United States (US), where he was receiving treatment.

The Emiri Diwan announced that the burial will be limited to the family of Sheikh Sabah.

It is worth mentioning that, the Kuwaiti ruler passed away yesterday Tuesday in the US, at age of 91, after a long illness.

Sheikh Sabah had ruled the country for nearly 15 years.

Earlier today, Kuwait has sworn in its new emir, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, before the parliament, following the death of his half-brother.
