The Kuwait Armed Forces said its air defense systems are currently intercepting missile and drone attacks launched by Iran.
In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti army said the air defense units are dealing with hostile missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The statement added that any explosions heard in the country are the result of air defense systems intercepting the incoming attacks.
The Kuwaiti military urged the public to follow safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
