On Sunday, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt H.E. Osama Bin Ahmed Nugali, along with the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States (LAS), Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, held an official reception to mark the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom.
The event was graced by the presence of several ministers from the Egyptian government, the Mufti of Egypt, a representative of Al-Azhar, a representative of the Coptic Church, and ambassadors accredited to Cairo, as well as a number of businessmen, thinkers, artists, and media figures like Elham Abo Al-Fath, supervisor of Sada Al-Balad channels and websites.
In his address, the Ambassador of KSA highlighted the Kingdom's role as a key partner in advancing joint Arab action and achieving a comprehensive renaissance for Arab governments and peoples in all fields.
He spoke about the Kingdom's ambitious vision and how its people have proven that they can dream and achieve.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also noted that the bilateral relations between Egypt and KSA have greatly improved under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
In the same connection, he called for a strengthening of all-round cooperation as a necessary tool to serve the common interests of Arab and Islamic nations and promote international peace and security.
Nugali further affirmed the Kingdom's interest in continuing to work with neighboring Arab states to support their legitimate and just causes.
In turn, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla stressed the depth of the strong relations between the Saudi and Egyptian peoples and the importance of boosting joint ties, especially in the investment avenues.
